14BC Market Row Brixton, London, SW9 8LD

Kamome Shokudo, or Seagull Diner, is one of the most popular names for a casual restaurant in Japan. It signifies tasty, well-cooked and simple food served at a reasonable price.

Our restaurant was established in 2011 as Curry Ono, Japanese Kitchen in Brixton, one of the most multi-cultural area in London. We initially specialised in Japanese curry, which is milder than the Indian variety from which it originates. ‎Curry was first introduced to Japan by the British navy in the 19th century and is now a popular staple. Over the years, we have gradually refined our menu, responding to the preferences of our customers as a founding member of Brixton’s cosmopolitan foodie community.
